HOW OUR SHOPIFY TO EBAY EXPERIENCE SUCKED AND MADE US LOOK LIKE SCAMMERS, AND PUT US IN THE POOR HOUSE, BUT WE WERE THE ONES WHO GOT ROYALLY SCAMMED- You Suck Ebay get your Policy together and let us sell more products!
When we started selling on Ebay we did not realize the tale spin of results that we were headed for. The first few days were awesome. We were making good progress crushing a sales slump, but then it turned into an absolute disaster.
Before we get to the story....
Now, understand we are a store that ships products from all over and at this point 75% of our product comes from overseas. Though, we are adding more and more USA suppliers. We have gone from a 90% overseas inventory to 75% international inventory. We are looking to bring that to at least under 50% in the very short term. Shipping it from overseas provides Americans with jobs, but having it here provides Americans with even more jobs.
Ok, now that we have gotten that out of the way here goes the story.
As stated earlier, we were making good progress on Ebay. The CEO of our company thought he was on a roll. However, since those products were coming from overseas they were taking such a long time. Too long for our customers.
Many of the customers complained. Our CEO personally handled many of these complaints and tried to reassure our customers with tracking numbers. Many of the customers thought, because of Ebay's automatic shipping settings they were going to receive the items in 4-10 days, when some of those items were taking as long as 20 days to arrive.
Some of the customers thought we were just another fly night night scam store with fake products ran by one of these sick minded con-artists, because their particular products came late.
What happens on Ebay when you make a complaint? The customer files requests of course. Our CEO personally offered those customers 10% off Forever gift cards in attempts to try to satisfy those requests. Ebay decided to refund the customers money anyway. Do you know what that means?
80% of those customers got a FREE product. How so?
Well, every last one of them who did not cancel their order eventually (though late, sorry) received their products.
We of course proved these Disgusting comments wrong and moved from negative to positive votes again

Nevertheless, Ebay decided to suspend our sales on our account anyway. This is after we verified our company info by sending them everything they needed, and proved our customers received their items.
Our first major experience selling on Ebay went from lucrative to rags within a week. We've made 2 appeals, and Ebay not only refuses to listen. They also refuse to give us a reason why.
Ebay needs to fix its policy on these refunds. They are most certainly not giving the sellers enough time to prove the item is on the way. Especially, when coming from a far away location.
We used to love you Ebay, but now we are looking into lawyers to fight against you in court. This is not how you treat long time customers who now decide to become sellers themselves.
This a warning to those entrepreneurs out here in the Marketplace in regards to selling on Ebay.
Just from that one experience Ebay has now antagonized someone who can hold boycotts against it. One of the ways to Boycott Ebay, is to not buy anything from them. Nor, pay their fees.
Ebay has to get it together. What about the rights of the seller?
Do you know how much money we could have made and how many people we could have helped by now?
